Os Elementos de Euclides para o século XXI, um “upgrade” tecnológico em imagens interativas

Resumo

A História e a Tecnologia são duas ferramentas bastante utilizadas no contexto da Educação Matemática. Contudo, a utilização simultânea destes dois instrumentos ainda é extremamente residual. Neste artigo iremos apresentar um exemplo de como utilizar a tecnologia, em particular, o GeoGebra, para abordar um livro marcante na História da Matemática: Os Elementos de Euclides. Utilizando este software de geometria dinâmica é possível novas abordagens às demonstrações de Euclides, permitindo que os estudantes tenham acesso a imagens construídas «passo a passo» e não apenas a uma imagem final estática como acontece num livro ou num pdf.
